Why evaluation is in callback?

I have one question about the training code, why did you apply the evaluation in the callback function, instead of just put the validation_generator in the fit_generator?

Hi, the short answer is I only modified the code that I needed to, from the maskrcnn repo by fyzir (read the readme.md)

Secondly, the net effect is the same right?
