Overview

While a rider begins the enrollment process within the Bene fits app, there are several points in the flow when the app performs a "hand-off" that takes the user to an external partner. These point include:

  • Hand-off to Login.gov or Medicare.gov (identity verification)
  • Hand-off to the CDT Identity Gateway (eligibility)
  • Hand-off to Littlepay (bank card enrollment)

The presentation of these hand-offs isn't consistent, and is sometimes clunky, in the current version of the app.

Requirements

Design a transition view "module" with configurable content that can be used for all of the points in the flow described above, as well as for future points of hand-off.

  • The user recognizes the app is transitioning them to a partner service.
  • The user understands to what partner service they are being directed to.
  • The view communicates system status if the transition takes time.
  • The transition experience for the user is consistent; they recognize when they are transitioning.
