Why

We moved out the hydra-explorer from https://github.com/input-output-hk/hydra to be able to track multiple versions of hydra more easily: cardano-scaling/hydra#1282

However, this also made the self-hosted github runner labelled hydra-explorer unavailable to this repository (which we like to use as it has synchronized cardano dbs for all networks) https://github.com/input-output-hk/hydra/blob/master/.github/workflows/explorer.yaml#L12

This issue is about re-enabling deployment to this github runner / AWS machine backing https://explorer.hydra.family.

What

One way to achieve this would be:

  • Make the github runner on hydra-explorer available to CI of this project
    • Move hydra repository to cardano-scaling (which also makes it less IOHK-centric)
    • Move the hosted runners from repository-based to organization-based and register it with cardano-scaling

#12 to make it work again, but not yet continuously deployed "from this repository"
