I saw there is a reference to a bug in eldoc-box--update-childframe-geometry but not sure this is the same issue.

Thanks, I'll see if I can reproduce this sometime. They're probably not the same issue, but I won't be surprised if this bug is also due to the peculiarity of frame-resize-pixelwise.

What version of Emacs are you using?

Way back then, it was 29.3 using the https://emacsformacosx.com/ build. I'm now on 29.4 (though spend some time on 30 and 31 these days) using this build https://github.com/jimeh/emacs-builds/releases/tag/Emacs-29.4. Also too long ago to recall the details.

Let's leave this issue open and I'll update you if it still exists.

And you have your hands completely full with tree-sitter issues...which I appreciate.

Thanks. Yeah, besides the constant bug reports, I still have a whole list of todos for tree-sitter. But I'll try to be more responsible on GitHub :-)

FYI, this issue still happens, though not consistently. Perhaps a race condition of some kind with the eglot/server documentation source?
