2. Copy the corresponding snippet that adds the colors specification to the `SKIM_DEFAULT_OPTIONS` environment variable.
3. Add the snippet to your shell startup script (e.g. `~/.profile`, `~/.bashrc`, `~/.zshrc`, etc).
