Currently, density is computed as a function of the hydrostatic pressure, $P_0 + $ the piecewise integral $\int \rho_0(z) g dz$ where the $z$-axis is perpendicular to the ice base. \textit{Make sure that the rotated z is used}
Perturbation pressure term is not included in velocity tendency initially. It is computed after the fact as the divergence of the velocity field, then subtracted from the velocity field to ensure that the divergence is (nearly) zero. \textbf{The divergence equation, below, also assumes that density gradients only matter along the z-axis.} Details of the pressure solver \href{https://palm.muk.uni-hannover.de/trac/wiki/doc/tec/pres}{here}.
