after resolving all conflicts, list element buttons are still inactive

Kirsten reports the following

Context:
When the author name is slightly different, the merger sometimes adds an author with the new name and flags the old name as conflict to be deleted.
If I want to keep the old information I have to reject that conflict and delete the newly added name.

Feature:
That used to work once all conflicts are resolved.
Now I can't delete authors anymore, not even in admin mode and when all conflicts are resolved.

When rejecting the single conflict, there are no further conflicts so the editor should be in the "normal" state, but buttons on the bottom-right of author cards (remove, move up, move down) are still disabled.
