Add new H5P exercise to Edlib

Hi all,

I can't add new exercise types as described by Oliver on this page. https://www.olivertacke.de/labs/2022/01/17/you-would-jig-if-you-saw-that-puzzle/

I get a error: Validatin H5P package failed. Missing main libary and missing required libary.

What do I wrong?

Hi, Katrien!

You may be missing the right to upload new H5P libraries or versions.
Edlib is currently set up to provide a layer of security, preventing anyone from uploading new content types and versions, to maintain control of what is made available to other users.
In short, you must be an admin to upload new content types or library versions.

I'm admin on our installation, but I can't upload libraries or exercises anywhere.

I get this error:

Validating h5p package failed.
Missing required library H5P.Column 1.16

Missing main library H5P.InteractiveBook 1.7

New content types and libraries can only be uploaded through the admin interface.

1. Go to "Admin home" from the user menu
2. Locate "Admin tools" and access admin entry for the content tool for H5P, e.g. "CA-admin"
3. Enter "Manage H5P content types"
4. Enter "Upload content type"
5. Choose file and upload

When I am in CA admin I see the following option: Update H5P Libraries --> Install or update H5P content types and libraries but I get an error 500 when I try. I'll investigate the logs.

I do'nt have any options on the admin tools

Hi @katrienbe. If you don't see any link to ca-admin in the "Admin home", you'll probably find them on the /create page, from the Create entry.
But if @torinfo is getting a 500 error when trying to enter the "upload" page, then that needs to be sorted out first.

@katrienbe @tmkarlsen This turned out to be a permissions issue. The permissions of the library folder in storage/app of the contentauthor was incorrect.

I successfully uploaded the h5p file:
