Checklist

  • I confirm there are no unresolved issues reported on the Chocolatey Status page.
  • I have verified this is the correct repository for opening this issue.
  • I have verified no other issues exist related to my problem.
  • I have verified this is not an issue for a specific package.
  • I have verified this issue is not security related.
  • I confirm I am using official, and not unofficial, or modified, Chocolatey products.

What You Are Seeing?

Package failed verification so did a retry yesterday. That failed again (though I think different error to previously) but today package was rejected.

https://community.chocolatey.org/packages/teamcity-openjdk8/2022.10.6

What is Expected?

I would expect that retrying verification would reset the 15 day timeout.

How Did You Get This To Happen?

  1. Package pushed to Chocolatey community
  2. Package failed verification
  3. Warning received that package will be auto-rejected
  4. Did a verification retry
  5. This also failed
  6. Package then auto-rejected

I have added this to the package-cleaner label, as I suspect that there will need to be changes made there, but there could also be related changes to package-validator, package-verifier, and package-scanner, to make the necessary updates to indicate that work is being done on package.
