the clemson acm chapter seems to date back to about ~1962-1963. here are some sources that dr. smotherman has helpfully provided:
in the student handbook for 1964-1965, exec board at the time: handbook
in the university newsletter from 1965, they mention that the chapter has already existed for two years: newsletter
speaker announcement on November 12, 1965 issue of The Tiger: newspaper
dr. smotherman also maintains this more general school of computing history page, which may have helpful information
maybe an acm history page could list historical executive boards through the years and what they've gone on to do in their careers (if they'd like to share?)
