Installation:

Install Firefox 115 ESR https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/releases/115.15.0esr/win64/

Put the 'defaults' folder and config.js file in C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox

Start Firefox. (i) Enable 'compact mode' under toolbar density (ii) Make sure to disable 'Sponsored shortcuts' and 'Recommendations by Pocket' (iii) Exit

Drop the 'chrome' folder in %appdata%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles(Your default Firefox profile)

Delete startupCache folder under C:\Users(username)\AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles(Your default Firefox profile)

Download and install Resource Hacker

Run as administrator

File > Open > find firefox.exe > Manifest > delete/comment these lines:
