The workshop _local website_ is here. This has information about the meeting location, travel to Thailand, and NARIT.
The local organizers have prepared a Participant Kit with lots of important information.

The _main Cloudy workshop website_ is here. This gives information about this and previous workshops.

The _workshop FTP site_ is here. This has downloads of files we will use and some details about Cloudy.
We will review the first chapters of Osterbrock & Ferland Astrophysics of Gaseous Nebulae, which are available as PDFs and referred to as AGN3 below.

The participant's page will have results of the projects we do during our time together.

_Questions?_ Please post them on our google group.
We also maintain a user forum where you can ask questions or get help.

Lots of things to do in Chiang Mai! Here is a Gastro Tour that Christophe and Gary will do.

Before the meeting

Do your homework!

Projects during the meeting

A significant portion of each day is set aside to work on projects.
At the start of the first day, we will introduce ourselves to one another with a series of short presentations describing our research areas. We will then break up into small teams with similar research interests. Each team will define a research project of mutual interest. The project is determined by the team and it should apply Cloudy to some astrophysical problem. We conclude each day with team summaries describing the progress made, and obstacles encountered, over that day. On the last day, each team will present a poster describing the project, the research question, and any conclusions reached. Projects from previous workshops are summarized on the participants pages.
These posters are a lasting souvenir of our time together. (My favorite is the Tango project from the Warsaw workshop - click on the poster and wait twenty seconds!)
