Version of the NodeJS and proper dependencies #71

The NodeJS version which gets installed in ubuntu 14.04. LTS is v0.10.25 when we use apt.
Unfortunately the latest code doesn't work with that version.

Can anyone recommend proper NodeJS version along with proper dependencies for the NPM installation ?
