We want to work on some more interesting ideas to work upon so that we can make the attendees (software developers) interact with each other. It could mean breakout room for video and chat (yep we have both the facilities) too, but we are looking for more quirky ideas on what can be done.
How we will work
Proposal phase
The student will be coming up with ideas on at least 3 features to be added (we’re super happy to help you think too!)
We will discuss in comments of this issue before finalising which 3 will be built
The student will submit a proposal with all the technical details
Development phase (for the selected students)
To keep this very engaging, mentors will be building the API’s and server side (as per the requirements in the proposal) and the students will be utilising those API’s to build the front end
Each feature will go live on completion, so yes, your code will be making an impact immediately
Event Engagement Activities
Right now, Community Organizers can host both online and offline events on Commudle and engage with live audience using QnA (with upvotes), Chat and Polls. Take a look at this page: https://commudle.com/communities/gdg-new-delhi/events/developer-days-android-day-1/session
