After going through the CVODE errors on Cantera user group, The most common CVODE error is the error with error code -3 and the solution is posted on the notebook. The CVODE source code on Cantera is on the Cantera github https://github.com/Cantera/cantera/blob/master/src/numerics/CVodesIntegrator.cpp
