Hi Steven,
we are starting to need Ubuntu 14.04 on some projects, so I would like to be able to include that as an option in the config.yml. I have started experimenting and am making progress, but there are various issues I/we will need to fix in the provisioning to make sure it can accommodate both 12.04 and 14.04.
I mainly wanted to let you know that we are thinking about this and check that we weren't duplicating efforts at all. I think it makes sense to support both rather than forking parrot and creating a separate 14.04 version.
Do you have any thoughts or advice on this?
Cheers,
Finn

So I think this would solve a lot of the issues people are having around PHP 5.5, in #95, #71 for example.

I wonder about just porting Parrot to use 14.04 and maintain an old branch for 12.04

But let's do this in a new branch for now, and see where we get to eh?

We have a working 14.04 branch on the Agile Collective fork of parrot. It may have some other features too (gulp/node) but it may be useful.

Oh oh! @finnlewis got a nice link to the branch so I don't have to guess which one?
