No video on Safari working on spash page

Good day,
I made this splash page that has video content.

Android works
Iphone/ipad it does not work!

Firefox/chrome work

On Ipad, if the page is "external" (on my server) it opens fine with safari - all video is working. If i open safari on the hotspot and point it to 11.1.0.1:3990/www/coova.html the video will not load??

Any ideas?

it is obviously Safari + coova that is the problem!

looks like Safari requires webserver to support "Range" request header in order to play your media content.

@xewonder this should not be related to coova i guess. Are you loading your video from an other ressource/URL? You will properly have to add it to the uamallow in coova then.
