Ideas affecting the UX
When presenting a QR code to be scanned (e.g. during entrance control), the screen brightness might be insufficient and has to be increased for the scan to succeed.
Current Implementation
The user has to increase screen brightness from the OS settings. In corona-warn-app/cwa-app-android#4606 an improvement was suggested and meanwhile implemented, which increases the screen brightness when the QR code is shown in full screen. While being an improvement, this requires several steps which are not quite intuitive for the user.
Suggested Enhancement
To further improve this, I propose to add a toggle action item to the toolbar in the certificates tab (as in the screenshot below) for this purpose. This will allow to quickly increase the screen brightness with only a single tap if required.

Expected Benefits
This has several advantages:
Also, there is enough space available.
If you want, I'd volunteer to propose an implementation and submit a PR on the matter. Please let me know for which base branche. See eltos/cwa-app-android@e478237
I am opening this as a dedicated issue as suggested in corona-warn-app/cwa-app-android#4606 (comment)
