ℹ This issue is currently a placeholder for tracking, but should be used to plan and track channel aliasing if decided to be included in a future version
Channel aliasing is the ability for existing IBC Classic channels to be used as aliases for IBC Eureka client identifiers, such that existing token denoms can continue to work in IBC Eureka.
The long-term goal is to enable a smooth transition from IBC Classic to IBC Eureka, and eventually remove IBC Classic entirely.
