Widget gets stuck

I love GlucoseDirect - but I have an issue that can be a security issue - and that I believe could be fixed (and I do know we shouldn't solely rely on this or any app for decisions)

My issue is that very frequently (often daily), the widget (on the iPhone Lock Screen) will get stuck.

Sometimes, launching the app will update the widget - sometimes I need to rescan before it does update the widget.

It would be great to display the widget in a different color if there is no update from the App - or struck it - or whatever that would show me that 'the data is in an unreliable state'
