i'll use the repo head version for now :)

I can confirm this. The problem is the same as always: cabal-dev has TOO STRICT dependency version requirements, AS ALWAYS... The recent bumping of numbers done in github HEAD solved this. I think a new package version with these relaxes requirements should be uploaded. Can someone do this?
