Previous display frame saved and superimposed

It is impossible to create molecules because of the constant overlap from previous frames. Perhaps it has something to do with the refresh? I downloaded avogadro 1.2 on another computer using the same procedure and that worked fine. It just fails on this computer. I have redownloaded 5 times and using different versions. All of them have this problem.
