Custom materials for tools? #106

Hi, I know you can make custom materials for armor and there is a decently long list of ones for blocks howerver is there any way to create custom materials for tools , for example for bronze tools that can mine gold but not diamond?

im fairly new to this so if its obvious please have some patience with me

I'd also be intrested to know if there are any other worldGen types besides worldGen:ore because id love to make some plants that generate on the surface of the world
