running "python-modbus-proxy" #351
-
Hi there, in my network, I'm having an SolarEdge inverter for my Solar-Power Installation. The problem here is, that the inverter does only allow one client to be connected and reading the values - which wasn't an issue as long as HomeAssistant was the only device reading from the inverter. Now, a wallbox has been installed, too. Now, I've found this python software. It acts as a Modbus bridge - and, I think it should be possible to connect this to the inverter - and then connect the Wallbox and my HomeAssistant configuration to this bridge. Now, I would like to know - if it should be possible to run this within pyscript (running within home assistant) - and then, connect the integration to the bridge (and also configure the wallbox to listen to the bridge, instead of the inverter IP directly)... Any tipps or hints would be appreciated :) |

probably solved - I saw, that someone provided the above software already as an HA addon ... |
