I've included a few starter "search terms" and their associated lists of Math AutoComplete codes on the wiki page. |

In this discussion, we're working to enhance the autocomplete feature in Word's Equation Editor by creating a list of generic search terms and their associated Math AutoCorrect codes. This will help users more easily find mathematical symbols, even when the AutoCorrect code doesn't match the expected spelling.
For example, we'd like a search term like "integral" to display all related codes, including ones that don’t start with the letters "in" (e.g.,
\iint
,\oint
). Let’s collaborate to develop a comprehensive list of search terms and define which codes should appear under each.Murray Sargent outlines the current autocomplete listbox feature in his Math Autocomplete blog post You can also experiment with the feature in the: UnicodeMathML Playground. In the blog post, Murray describes the feature like so:
A complementary Wiki page has been set up to compile the final list of search terms and associated AutoCorrect codes: Math AutoCorrect Search Terms and Associated Math AutoCorrect Codes to Improve AutoCorrect Code Discoverability
