Hi @hbjerkan, ESPN has limited their API use based on our research and we have unable to find an application to attempt to join partnership to gather the data necessary for displaying this. This is still a use case we are very interested in solving for however. If you have any leads on suitable API's that can gather a wide range of popular sports scores we can review their LOE to implement. |

Hi Corey,
Thank you for the quick reply. I have done a ton of digging and the score
tickers seem to be impossible to find. The best I did was a RSS feed for
the Sports News ticker but nothing for live scores. Thank you for looking
into it.
I did have a suggestion for an app I just came across over the weekend. It
is a Meal Planning App called Whisk. It is a free app that allows you to
create a meal plan and give you recipes. Since my current DakBoard Screen
features a Meal Planner through a Google Calendar I thought this app would
be a cool one to explore. Thought I would at least bring it to your
attention if you had not heard of it. I love DakBoard and how far it has
come in the 8-10 months I have had it. I will be a customer for a very long
time.
Thanks,
Hans Bjerkan

Hi Corey,
Good to know!
Live scores/scores from that day. Specific sports; NFL, NCAA
Football/Basketball, MLS (or Soccer in general), MLB, NHL, PGA are the
sports I recommend. I know NBA would be super popular although I am not an
NBA fan.
Thanks,
Hans Bjerkan

Hi @hbjerkan <https://github.com/hbjerkan>,
Thank you for the suggestion, I took a look at Whisk and unfortunately
they don't allow export via ICS for an easy solution to this unfortunately.
It does look like there can be other development paths to accomplish this
if we have enough client focus to justify the integration though. I would
recommend creating another discussion and if it picks up momentum we can
look into it a bit further.
We will keep our eyes open for a good reliable sports API, are there
certain sports you are looking for more and is it mainly live scores?

Has anyone looked at Score Stream? https://scorestream.com Appears they have a widget option. Looks like their core business is high school sports, but comments in other forms indicate they may have pro and college sports scores in the widget. |

I have tried a few different sports tickers through random threads found online but nothing is clean and simple. Something like a simple live scores ticker like ESPN would be amazing!
