Google Tasks - Capability to mark tasks as complete

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
My dakboard is the center of my family organization. We are currently using 'Calendar' for everything. But some things are really more task-oriented that scheduled events. This makes the calendar noisy and as a result we fail to keep up with the scheduled events as well.

Describe the solution you'd like
I'd like to have a list of my tasks (out of google task preferably) and have the kids tap the task or the box next to it and mark it off.

Describe alternatives you've considered
I tried to 'embed' google tasks into dakboard, but i think that tasks doesn't allow itself to be embedded like that? I'm not sure. I can get it successfully minimal (and beautiful) in my browser window. But when I go to embed it into dakboard i get 'google accounts has redirected too many times'.

Thank you for taking the time to make suggestions to DAKboard, the majority of new features are developed from feedback from the community like yours. At the moment we are interested in making this a future enhancement in DAKboard but do not have any timelines associated with this request yet at this time. We will be converting this request in the meantime to a Discussion for the purpose of gathering more understanding interest there is in the client base to gauge priority.

This is still being considered, but this request hasn't gathered a very significant amount of interest so it is not been prioritized yet. Based on the capabilities, this is likely still possible and will remain as a planned item for us but with no timeline still. Sorry for the inconvenience this may cause you.

I'd just like to throw in my support for this feature. Would be very nice to just tap to close tasks directly from my Dakboard instead of opening the app on my phone.

Sorry for the late follow up on this, we completed this enhancement in internal case 396 and released this functionality on August 2nd 2023. You may toggle on the ability to complete tasks in custom screens like in the below image example:
