@BennRoe thanks for submitting this. In addition to the name/title of the event, DAKboard can also display the "Description" field and the "Location" field. I would recommend populating some of those details into the description and/or location fields and checking the appropriate checkboxes in DAKboard to display those fields on your screen. If that doesn't seem to work, let us know and we can assist. Thank you. |

That's not a solution, I'm afraid! Those fields are being used for the description of the event and the location of the event, respectively. I also need access to other fields. This is on top of the fact that my iCal file is automatically generated by the software that manages my website's calendar, so it's not possible for me to adjust its output without fairly extensive reprogramming. This is a good feature request that will make DAKboard a lot more powerful and flexible. Please reconsider. As is, this platform isn't capable of displaying the relatively basic calendar I need it to, and I'll likely be forced to move my subscription dollars elsewhere.

Also, unless I'm missing something, DAKboard can't currently display the "description" field in monthly view. Am I wrong about that? |

Thanks for the information. I've reopened the issue so we can continue to track and prioritize this. |

We will be converting this request in the meantime to a Discussion for the purpose of gathering more understanding interest there is in the client base to gauge priority. |

I'm using my DAKboard to display my game shop's events calendar in-store for my customers. The feed is being pulled from our website's calendar, which is capable of exporting via iCal. Each event has a title, a game system, and a format, and it would be ideal to display each of those three pieces of data on the standard monthly calendar, along with the start time, and--preferably--also the cost of admission. Currently my website is exporting all of that data in its iCal feed with the exception of the format (which I could live without for now, but which I'm working on implementing). It would be really great if DAKboard had a way to add new iCal fields to the monthly view that could be selected with checkboxes or ordered dropdowns, or whatever else. Here're some event examples to demonstrate my need:
6:30pm
Friday Night Magic
Magic: the Gathering
Standard tournament
$5
That event reads okay under the current formatting of just "6:30pm Friday Night Magic", but this one doesn't:
1:00pm
Welcome Event
Flesh & Blood
open play
"1:00pm Welcome Event" isn't super helpful on its own. Thanks for you consideration!
