Testing New Screens - Cap on #of Screens

One of the challenges I frequently have is the ability to test new content. It would be nice if we could have the ability to create a screen without pushing it to a display. Maybe changing the licensing to concurrent screens instead of a hard cap on total number of screens. For example if my plan includes 2 screens and both are in use on different displays, if I want to test a new layout the only solution I can come up with is to export the screen layout, then edit it. If I don't like it, delete the current layout and import the old one.
