Fundle install - git clone from SSH instead of HTMl

Can we git clone from SSH if we set a variable somewhere?

It's annoying to have to type my password manually or to have to cd into the plugin git repo and change the remote to be SSH instead of https

i think this requires a new feature

trying flag "--path" but it is totally confusing and it doesn't work:
