DocuMaison is a simple tool to make your documents organized, indexed, searchable and easily accessible. It was developed in a team a student project for the Software Architectures course at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics in 2012.
You can try the tool by simply downloading and unzipping the built version. You can download an example database as well. To use this, simply copy it to the folder of the .jar files.
DocuMaison is written in Java. The persistence layer relies on SQLite, used through OrmLite. An alternative version in the intJava
branch uses JPA-style annotations instead of the OrmLite annotations (besides other improvements). The graphical interface uses the Nebula Project and Opal.
The documentation, including the requirement specification, the system documentation, the installation guide and an introductory presentation can be found in the docs folder. Unfortunately the documentation is in Hungarian.
