A swarm is better?

A swarm of, bees or maybe school of fish.. a murder of crows.. or perhaps the Borg collective. All of these things invoke a sense of action, purpose and power, almost elemental in nature.

But I feel I must challenge the sentiment that what are making is best modeled after a swarm. In fact, that a swarm is better should be established only after the definition of what swarm is, is established.

For the sake of structured discussion I put my argument forth:

• There is no need to model this project after a "swarm"
• The current project is not being modeled after a swarm it is being modeled after a corp
• Their are no clear advantages to swarm, but it sounds cool, and that is why we are excited mostly.

Please be aware, I put my argument forth hoping that indeed my statements will be proven incorrect. So please do so!
