Support for Lynus Hybrid inverters (Deye)

Hello there!

I didn't want to right away open an issue since I am wondering whether my inverter is even supported. It's a "Lynus" branded Deye inverter (SG01HP3 AM2, firmware MW4C_14_CSIP_1.14) and I can get ha-solarman to auto-discover it but then it will just fall into a timeout / loop:

I am unsure where to proceed here - could it be that my inverter needs a custom yaml?

Hi @bascht cause you have to ADD DEVICE with appropriate profile selected. There is one made exactly for this model. And if that does not help I would try to ask support to upgrade firmware of the device.

@githubDante Yes indeed - just went down to the inverter to check and it's sticker says LSE-3. Is this bad? 😨

@bascht No, it's not. It's an Ethernet datalogger which does not use the solarmanV5 protocol. @davidrapan has a switch somewhere in the UI and can switch to TCP MODBUS.

@bascht? How familiar you are with the python? In api.py on the row 26 there is:

sm_passthrough = False

Change it to True. And restart HA if you know how to do all of that! 😉

Yeah! Sorry about that! There was a switch but I had so many of those who would just mindlessly turn it on and then wonder why it does not work.. So I (in my endless ignorance) got rid of that!

But I knew this day will come! 😆 I'll have to think it through how to introduce it back or something...

I wouldn't know as it is somehow cryptic to understand that it is only for LSE loggers.
