After discussing it with Massi, we decided to put this in the backlog:

• Chrome doesn't support any kind of authentication it works with a DB directly in memory, or a file on disk
• Chroma has support to call embedding functions from different sources, some might require auth some not
• Chroma itself doesn't has any built-in support for the embedding sources that support auth

We will had this support if Chroma itself adds it natively or if some important reason justifies it.
