Describe the problem

The documentation states that short text fields have a character limit of 60,000 characters. If an admin goes into xsoar to review the incident name field, it displays as a short text field so following the documentation the admin would believe the character limit of the incident name field to be 60,000 characters. However, if an incident playbook attempts to set the incident name to a value that exceeds 600 characters, the task setting the incident name flags an error and then reverts the incident name to the previous value.

Suggested fix

The documentation should have a subbullet under short text to clarify any out of the box fields that have a different limitation, including incident 'name' field which has a limitation of 600 characters. I had to reach out to your support team to obtain this information. (See Palo Alto Support case #03150403 for full support case information.
