Description

The Action Link does not render correctly in the blockquotes. Instead, the image is missing, the link is centered within the blockquote.

  • Ticket is understood, and QA has been contacted (if the ticket has a QA label).
  • This work is added to the sprint review slide deck (key win bullet point and demo slide)

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Use template_id in DEV VaNotify to send yourself an email.
  2. Observe that the formatting of the Action Link in the blockquote is incorrect
  3. If it proves to be extremely difficult, let Elissa know and we can discuss other possible solutions.

Workaround

None

Impact/Urgency

High - client facing

Expected Behavior

  • When I send an email using a template that contains an Action Link in a blockquote, the action link image is rendered correctly, the whole thing is left-justified.
  • Note that BUG: Template formatting - Action link adds line break after hyperlink #202 concerns itself with a bug where any text after the hyperlink has a newline inserted before it. If that bug is fixed before this one, ensure that the feature still works as expected after the code changes.

QA Considerations

  • Beat it up.
