A new architecture for the Aurora Protocol. Based on several technologies:

  • Rail Depot - Manages identities across several different Personality servers. Stores public keys, identifiers, and servers to make interacting between personality servers easier.

  • Personality - Manages user data. Manages websocket connections to Beam instances for anything from user meta data updates to track creations.

  • Beam - Almost like a web crawler. Based on a single Rail Depot, it starts from one Personality instance and tries to collect as much data as possible to create feeds for user applications.

  • Twilight - Not a part of the Aurora Protocol but obviously several parts of Aurora are made to accommodate client applications like Twilight.

Currently blocked by core design issues related to Beam and remembering algorithmic data without constantly resending it.

Due to this, we've sprung up some new things which we hope to come to fruition soon let this issue not be solved.

I decided to make the mature decision and not restructure Derailed once again.

Beam will be working around this issue with decentralization. Should be done sometime soon.

Temporary solution until we can go ahead with using postgres and `ANY($1)` instead.
Add functionality for fetching and crawling through a user.

TODO in Persona, add validation for when actors and tracks are deserialized.
