Cannot connect to MQTT broker

Hi,

I cannot connect to my MQTT broker (OpenHab 2.5.4 Embedded Broker), getting the error message
Attempting MQTT connection...failed, rc=-2 try again in 10 seconds
As far as I have seen, this error code means "Connection Refused: Identifier rejected".
My MQTT broker is working correctly, I can access it e.g. from Python (using paho-mqtt).

Could you please help me?
