Hi @devvsakib ,

I hope you're doing well.

As part of our ongoing work on the website, we need to add it to Google Search Console to monitor its performance, submit the sitemap, and optimize it for search engines. Since I am not the owner of the website, I will need your help to verify the site and grant me access.

Could you please follow these steps to verify the website in Google Search Console:

  1. Sign in to Google Search Console with your Google account.
  2. Add the website property and verify ownership using one of the provided methods (e.g., HTML file upload, meta tag, DNS record, etc.).
  3. Once verified, go to the "Settings" section in Google Search Console.
  4. Select "Users and permissions" and click on "Add User."
  5. Enter my email address [email protected] and set the permission level to Full or Restricted.

This will allow me to add the sitemaps and monitor the website’s performance. Additionally, you can handle adding the keywords, descriptions, and other SEO-related settings to optimize the website further.

If you need any assistance with the verification process, feel free to let me know.

Thank you for your support!

Best regards,
Yash Patil

Sure, let me explain the index file and the steps in more detail.

  1. Setup Google Search Console:

  2. Verify Ownership:

    • Once signed in, you'll need to verify that you own the website.
    • You can do this by adding an HTML tag to your website's <head> section, uploading an HTML file to your server, or using your domain name provider.
  3. Submit Sitemap:

    • After verifying ownership, go to the Google Search Console dashboard.
    • Navigate to 'Sitemaps' in the left-hand menu.
    • Enter the URL of your sitemap (usually something like yourwebsite.com/sitemap.xml) and click 'Submit'.

The index file I referred to is usually the main HTML file of your website, where you would add the verification HTML tag provided by Google. If you're using a CMS like WordPress, there are plugins that can help you with this.

I hope this clarifies the process. Let me know if you need more information!

Hello @ROHIT-TECH-UNIVERSE,

If you have the required skills, you can certainly work on this. However, please note that adding a site to Google Search Console requires ownership verification. Since neither of us owns this website, the true owner, @devvsakib, would need to handle that process. Unfortunately, we can't add the site to the Google Search Console on our own.

Hi @PATILYASHH , I added the site to the search console a few days ago, But the thing is, I have brought a new domain for this project. as you can see its now devtoolsarena.xyz.
Do I have to update the site URL? if yes, then How?
