could audiofiles automatically find the end of chapter?

In my try to put audiofiles to particular bible-versions I realized that I have to give them everytime the whole range of verses for one chapter. Is there really no other way?
I mean the content-length is known from the bible and the combination from each chapter to audiofile is also clear, but to find out the last vers of every chapter... - Is it really neccessary? This is so laborious, even if the work is done once - because another version could have the old chapter-seperation and so on...
