As a {}User{}, I want to easily select my city by using my current location such that I don't have to scroll through the list or remember the name of the city. Therefore we want to show nearby cities as we already do on native (see screenshots).

Acceptance Criteria (Successes/Failures):

  • Button or other option to show nearby cities is added
  • If location permission is granted max. 3 nearby cities are shown
  • If no location permission is granted, an error message should be shown (with the possibility to request the permission again if possible?)

@sarahsporck is there a design needed?

Depends. Do you think the same design can be applied to web, as we do it in native rn? Then no design is needed. Otherwise a design is needed.

Yes the same can be applied on web. The button"Switch back to default API" and the link above won't be shown to the user right? @sarahsporck

Jep. That should never be visible for the end user.
