Custom HTML renderer fails with & character #80

Hello, thank you for the great package!

I am having trouble with & character when using custom HTML renderer.

If you remove the & character in line 15 in this minimal working example, then it will compile without error:
ellie example

Do you have any suggestion for workaround?

EDIT: I got a tip using &
