searching from twitter.com home inputs undefined query, search recommendations doesn't work #867

Description

Searching from the home page will not put anything in the query, resulting in 'undefined' being searched. Works fine when searching in the /search page after it. Only happens in twitter.com but works fine in x.com for some reason
Clicking the search recommendations/history doesn't do anything

Browser
Mercury 123.0.1 (Firefox fork, unsure if it also happens in official Firefox versions or not)

OldTwitter version
1.8.5.2
