I just tested the latest experimental version. It looks interesting - mainly the offline version. But, I wasn't able to show any offline map. Which format/type of map should I use? I use mostly the Locus app for navigation with its vector maps and it would be great if I could use the same maps in your app.

It needs to be a map in mapsforge format.
For example maps from here http://download.mapsforge.org/ or https://www.openandromaps.org/

You can use mapsforge maps with the Locus app (but Locus supports multiple maps formats), so if you are using Locus maps with a mapsforge map, you can use the same map :-) Otherwise not.

It works nice. I forgot to change a layer:(
Can I change the theme? I tried this one: https://www.openandromaps.org/en/legend/elevate-mountain-hike-theme#toggle-id-1 - without any effect. I use version off2.

And, it would be nice if the selected map layer would be remembered and used after the app's restart.

I have the problem that the setting "Use offline maps" is not saved permanently (v1.0.7 +experimental). After closing the app and restarting it, the radio button is back to “OpenStreetMap”. That's not nice if you don't have an internet connection. However, the path to the *.MAP file remains intact.

Is this the same for other users?
