General guidance: List of custom objects?

This library looks really fantastic. I went through the docs but can't find the solution for my problem.
Could I use this library for the following use case?

I want to have a category called "cars". I want to add new cars to a list. The preferences dialog should have an "add car" button. A new dialog with fields for the car will open (color, brand, price). Then I click save and a new car appears in the main preferences dialog.

Additionally: Can I log the cars in other places of my app somehow?
