Installed clean using nvQuickSite. No problems.

Initial testing of the enhanced Site Groups module:

• Created 3 sites (A, B, C).
• Created a site group including all 3 sites.
• Added an HTML module to the home page of each site.
• On the Home page of site C, added (not as a copy) the HTML modules from sites A and B.
• Verified the edits to the modules on A and B transferred to C.
• Edited A and B modules on C and verified that the changes appear on sites A and B.
• Created a site D that is not part of the site group.
• When I try to Add an Existing module to the home page of site D, I get an error "Error occurred when request service 'GetPortalsInGroup'." which makes sense because that site is not part of a site group. Clicking OK seems to progress normally from that point. can add modules from other pages on the portal. But ... the site name is not shown because that dropdown wasn't populated because that site isn't part of a site group.

Suggested enhancement: If a site is not in a site group, make the error and the list of site groups go away, or show the name of the current site in place of the dropdown.

All of that said ... THIS IS A GREAT ENHANCEMENT TO DNN!!!!!

@jncraig in my testing a portal that is not part of the group does not show in the sites dropdown. Am I misunderstanding something here ?

What are the steps to get the error ?

What else deserves special testing?

I'd give emails a quick test, of course upgrade scenarios are always welcomed, good testing on portal aliases redirect mode in various situations would be welcome. too.

I tried to outline what I had done in my note. I'll go back and try it again. I just did it again. The error appears right after I click the Add Existing Module button. When I dismiss the error, there is no name in the Site dropdown. The Pages dropdown is populated correctly.
