Hosting dotnet 8 and dotnet framework / mono in the same app

I have a native exe that host dotnet framework 4.x on windows and mono on linux.
I'd like to know whether it is problematic to also host dotnet 8 in that exe side by side with the other engines.
I'm fine with c# code not being able to talk to each other in c# as long as I can use source generated COM or dll import.

any help would be appreciated.

Multiple .NET (coreclr) / .NET Framework runtimes can't co-exist in the same process. There are conflicts in global state.
A workaround can be compiling modern .NET code into NativeAOT and interop through DllImport and UnmanagedCallersOnly with EntryPoint export.

I can see from this issue that it may work but it is not officially documented and there are known issues.

What are the known issues? Can I get a list ?

I think the answer could be "we haven't identified such known issue list".

Debugging and tracing are known to have issues in this configuration.

We do not have a complete issue list. It is officially unsupported scenario. There is no comprehensive testing for it.
