Converted Status value

Please make clear that it is the API Value of the LeadStatus 'Converted' picklist option that goes into the "Converted Status" field.
I have been in Orgs where the picklist's Label and API have been different on the option for IsConverted=true and the Lead does not get converted if using the label, it only works if you use the api value.
