2. EDGAR Emission Processing

The EDGAR emission files are available from http://edgar.jrc.ec.europa.eu/htap_v2/. We use the monthly data files, in order to use their estimates of seasonal variability of emissions.

These data files should be distributed across the model domain using the anthro_emiss tool, available from https://www2.acom.ucar.edu/wrf-chem/wrf-chem-tools-community. A configuration file for running anthro_emiss to do this will be added to this repository. Also we will discuss modifications to anthro_emiss to make it time agnostic.

The data files for the model domain are then processed to create WRF-Chem input files using the UoM_emiss tool. (and link here once the repo is public)
