There is a bug where triggering Obsidian's "reload app without saving" command via the command palette will add new instances of the tray icon, and after force-reloading Obsidian's UI like 7 times you end up with 7 tray icons and only the last one will work while the rest are just lingering there.

This probably happens because force-reloading Obsidian's UI also reloads all plugins, which results in a chaotic tray area filled with the same icon over and over.
